Vista Murrieta CA sophomore Carlita Coleman won the discus throw and shot put to help the Broncos prevail by a 78-58 margin over Southwestern League rival Great Oak CA. Coleman had a third-round effort of 35-7 (10.84m) in the shot put and a first-round throw of 102-2 (31.14m) in the discus, sweeping both events for the second year in a row to help Vista Murrieta rebound from an 86-50 loss last season at Great Oak.
