Brigham Young 2nd Place Women's 6K Race - NCAA D1 XC Mountain Regional 2023

With five scorers in the top 25 and all seven athletes in the top 40, Brigham Young placed second in the women's 6-kilometer race by a 39-59 margin against Northern Arizona at the NCAA Division 1 Mountain Regional at the Chaparral Ridge Cross Country Course at Lubbock Christian in Texas. Carmen Alder was fourth in 19:30.5, Aubrey Frentheway placed fifth in 19:30.6, Lexy Halladay-Lowry took ninth in 19:47.1, Carlee Hansen secured 16th in 19:57.6, Anastaysia Davis (20:16.6) and Jacey Farmer (20:17.5) were 25th and 26th, respectively, and Taylor Rohatinsky grabbed 38th in 20:37.1 for the Cougars, who secured their ninth consecutive trip to the NCAA Division 1 championship meet and 36th in program history Nov. 18 at the Panorama Farms Course in Virginia.
