Brigham Young teammates James Corrigan and Kenneth Rooks finished 32nd and 35th, respectively, in the men's 10-kilometer final at the NCAA Division 1 Cross Country Championships at the Panorama Farms Course in Virginia, contributing to the Cougars taking third as a team with 196 points. Corrigan clocked 29:40.1 and Rooks ran 29:42.9, both earning All-America honors in their debuts at the Division 1 cross country championship meet.
